According to Scripture, the mission isn't necessarily giving handouts to the poor or even aiding long-term missionaries in their work. It's about sharing the Gospel. As such, several members of The First Haitian Church of God of Trenton began an international Missionary Program to their native country of Haiti. The group has had a number of missionary trips, and this year marks their 9th . The group consists of members from the local church, as well as members from the 13 churches in the NJ Haitian District.

The 2017 missionary trip will be held in Gonaives, Haiti, where several of the church's members are from. The goals of this trip are to encounter God's heart in helping our fellow brethren, to expand our limited perspectives, to become more grateful, to expand and connect with our spiritual family, to build long-lasting relationships, and to expand the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. By the grace of God and through your continued support and prayers, we anticipate a mighty move of God in Gonaives, Haiti.
